You will be feeling a whole host of emotions which we’ll cover in other sessions, but this session is a hands-on practical look at what this means and what to do if it’s just happened to you. This session is particularly relevant if you have recently been made redundant or fear you may be about to.

Who had even heard of the word before 2020?

But what a powerful word that has meant so much to us – at the start it offered an ounce of security but if you’re still furloughed maybe that has changed to anxiety.

CONFIDENCE

The backbone of everything we’re working on; it’s easy to see how your confidence could be shattered right now. Rejection after rejection, knockback after knockback. You’d have to be made of Teflon for some of it not to stick. With a leading expert on how to build confidence, this session is for you if you’re feeling less than 100% right now. The job market has changed, the world of employment has changed, the needs of business has changed and your CV in 2020 has to change as well. What employers needed in 2019 is very different to 2020. Your CV has to represent these changes to show you as a person who is ready and capable for the challenges the workplace faces as it continues to adapt.

WHAT TO WRITE

In a world where everyone is now a creator, knowing what to write to gain attention from possible and prospective employers is key. “But I don’t know what to write” is a common statement, but with one of our brilliant copywriters they’ll teach you ideas and topics you can cover that will resonate with people and unlock the power of Social Media in your search.

YOUNG PEOPLE & EARLY CAREERS

There are many things you can do with you overall health that will have a positive impact on how you feel about the job search. Alcohol intake is on the rise during the pandemic and you may be unaware of things you can do during your day that can have a positive impact on your job search, how you feel and how you perform through the entire thing.
